Former UMass and Yale quarterback Grant Jordan committed to the Cowboys, according to a report from On3. com. The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Jordan, who has one year of eligibility remaining, was an All-Ivy League honorable mention at Yale in 2024 when he completed 66.4% of his passes for 1,939 yards with 22 touchdowns and three interceptions. He also rushed for 360 yards and five TDs. In 2025 at UMass, he appeared in seven games and completed 63 of 110 passes for 595 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions. Jordan gives the Cowboys four total quarterbacks at this point, with Mestemaker plus high school prospects Brodie Vehrs of Chandler, Arizona, and Luke Tepas of Barrington, Illinois.
