Ola Electric expands 4680 bharat cell platform at Prarambh 2026, enters new Energy ecosystem

• The company also announced the commercial launch of Ola Shakti, India’s first fully indigenous residential Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).
• Ola Shakti is now available for purchase, with deliveries of the 6kW/9.1kWh variant starting by end-January 2026 and the 3kW/5.2kWh version from mid-February 2026.
• In the mobility segment, Ola Electric has begun deliveries of its flagship electric motorcycle Roadster X (9.1kWh), offering a claimed range of up to 500 km on a single charge, and has scaled up PAN-India deliveries of the S1 Pro 5.2kWh electric scooter.
• At the core of these products is the 4680 Bharat Cell, a single energy platform powering Ola Electric’s two-wheelers and residential energy solutions, following the company’s “one cell, one platform, one portfolio” approach built for Indian conditions.
• An Ola Electric spokesperson said opening up the 4680 Bharat Cell platform will enable innovation across sectors, from electric vehicles and drones to advanced technologies, helping build a future-ready energy backbone for India.
