Dan Lanning has continued this new tradition with the signing of 5-star receiver Jalen Lott out of Frisco, Texas. The 6-foot, 176-pounder is one of the top receivers in the country and one of the top athletes to come out of the state of Texas. He'll have a chance to compete right away for playing time as a true freshman, but that receiver room is loaded with talent, so it might be a little tougher to break through at Oregon than it would have been at other spots.
