Overnight gale causes damage, electricity restored

Heavy snowfall and strong winds have disrupted normal life across large parts of Kashmir, causing significant damage to property and power infrastructure. All roads, including the National Highway, are closed, and flights at Srinagar airport have been canceled. Authorities have initiated large-scale clearance and rescue operations in response to the adverse weather conditions.
