Dharamshala, Jan 21 (UNI) Adarsh Bhardwaj, Executive Engineer, Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Ltd (HPSEB), Kangra, on Tuesday said that power curtailments are being imposed on an alternate basis in parts of Kangra district due to overloading of the 10 MVA power transformer at the 132/33/11 kV Ghurkari sub-station. He said the curtailments are affecting Kangra, Daulatpur, Serathana, Mandal Feeder Rajol, Tiara and Rajol Express Feeder, depending on the daily power demand. Bhardwaj said that to address the issue, augmentation of the Chebb sub-station has already been awarded under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS).
