The PPA Tour and Major League Pickleball (MLP) announced on Thursday that they recorded significant year-over-year growth across all major business areas during the 2025 calendar year, showcasing pickleball’s growing commercial value following the February 2024 MLP-PPA merger. The 2025 UPA: Jenius Bank Pickleball World Championships (with MLP Cup) generated more than $1.1 million in combined ticket and hospitality revenue and drew a record total attendance of over 60,000. Across the 2025 PPA Tour, social media impressions nearly doubled per event, Pickleballtv delivered a 95 per cent lift in minutes viewed per event, ticket revenue rose 33 per cent per domestic event and total attendance increased by 16 per cent. Major League Pickleball also reported sharp gains. Franchise valuations reached new highs, with the LA Mad Drops valued at $13 million in a record MLP majority stake sale and the Palm Beach Royals valued at $16 million, setting a record for an MLP expansion franchise.
