Ratha Saptami: Over 2.6 lakh devotees’ expected at Arasavalli temple

Key Highlights

• Queue lines will open from Saturday night as Ksheerabhisekham and other celestial activities will commence at 1 am on Sunday.
• Devotees will have the opportunity to have ‘Nijarupa darshan’ of the presiding deity Sri Surynarayana Swamy throughout the day of Ratha Saptami.
• As part of the five day pre-festival events, Collector Swapnil Dinakar Pundkar along with officials performed in urya Namaskars on 80 feet road in Srikakulam on Friday.
• On Friday evening, a massive Sobha Yatra was organised to showcase Andhra Pradesh’s major temples, Indian culture and traditions.
• The Collector said that devotees will have a hassle-free darshan with the coordinated efforts of the district officials and public representatives.
