Key Highlights

• The Eagles led the first period in shots 15-5 and struck first on the scoreboard when former Friar Brady Berard tipped in a missile from Adam Minnetian for a 1-0 Eagles lead.
• But PC came right back 30 seconds later and scored an unassisted goal off of a botched BC pass in their own end.
• As the game began to get chippy early and a couple pairs of matching penalties were called, the Eagles continued to outplay the Friars in possession time and shot attempts.
• But it was PC who struck again with under 10 seconds remaining in the first period off of another clumsy Eagle turnover in front of their own net.
