- Smija, research scholar, Centre for Advanced Studies in Botany, University of Madras, Chennai.
- The award, carrying a gold medal, citation, and cash prize, will be presented at a ceremony at Fatima Mata National College, Kollam, on December 15.
- Kajal Chakraborty, Director, ICAR–National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources, Lucknow, will distribute the awards and deliver the endowment oration.
