Seven arrested in Hyderabad as excise teams seize over eight kilograms of ganja and 43 bottles of illegal liquor

Key Highlights

• One person identified as Mogili Rakesh was arrested and handed over to the Meerpet excise station along with the seized contraband.
• In another operation, Saroornagar Task Force arrested two persons selling ganja on a scooter on the outskirts of Jillelguda Lake.
• The accused, Annalapu Sai Kiran and Bakka Raju, were found in possession of 2.21 kilograms of ganja and were handed over to the Balanagar excise station along with the scooter.
• The State Task Force-B team arrested a man named Azmat near the Ameerpet bus stand and seized 1.522 kilograms of ganja from his possession.
• Cases were also registered against two others, Sikandar and Akbar, in connection with the same incident.
