After a 70-49 win over the short-handed Lexington Minutemen on Saturday night, the Whippets have now won three straight with all of those victories coming in a five-day span. It was all Shelby from there. Gavin Miller’s and-one layup, and Brayden DeVito’s three at the end of the first finally gave Shelby a spark. The Whippets got out to a 20-3 run between 21 seconds left in the first quarter until 5:21 in the second when a timeout was called.
