Telangana Governor, CM extend Bhogi and Sankranti greetings to people of Telangana

Key Highlights

• He noted that Sankranti is celebrated with colourful kite-flying, Kolatam dances and community feasts featuring freshly harvested paddy, sugarcane and traditional sesame sweets, reflecting the State’s agrarian culture.
• The Governor said the festivals hold deep significance in the heritage of the people and bring enthusiasm and jubilation across villages and towns.
• Expressing hope that the festive season would strengthen bonds of love, affection and amity, he wished good health, happiness and well-being for every household in Telangana.
• Meanwhile, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy also extended Sankranthi greetings to Telugu people and wished that everyone celebrate Bhogi, Sankranthi and Kanuma with joy, as the festivals signify prosperity and new beginnings.
• The Chief Minister reiterated the government’s resolve to ensure that all welfare and development schemes reach every family in the State.
