A Goffstown High School graduate, Strickland spent the past two seasons with the Wildcats. AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementAfter posting career-bests in receptions (24), receiving yards (226) and touchdowns (four) last fall, Strickland was named to both the New England Football Writers Association All-New England Team and Coastal Athletic Association All-Conference First Team, both times listed as a fullback. Strickland's transfer comes after former UNH coach Rick Santos left the program to become the head coach at Penn. The Wildcats have since hired former quarterback Sean Goldrich as their new head coach. An FBS program, Toledo went 8-5 overall last fall and lost to Louisville in the Bush's Boca Raton Bowl of Beans on Dec. 23.
