Today on Pinstripe Alley – 12/4/25

Story byMadison PavichThu, December 4, 2025 at 11:00 AM UTC·1 min readWe’re a few days into December now, meaning we’re only a few days away from the start of the Winter Meetings and the unofficial hotspot of the offseason. Little has slipped out of the Yankees’ camp in the early goings, and what little we do know of their plans doesn’t sound very exciting: the payroll concerns are once again front and center, having Trent Grisham accept the qualifying offer may have been an unanticipated outcome further straining said payroll, and the solutions to improving the team seem few and far between. Of course, there wasn’t much noise about the pivots the Yankees would make after losing out on Juan Soto last offseason, and then they rolled in with some very solid results by the end of the month that rounded them out quite well, so there’s plenty that could be in play. While we eagerly await some news, we also have some coverage to provide.
