- It also seeks to promote transparency and competition in the DLC market and ensure equitable and affordable access across different regions and categories of users.
- The review will take into account the evolution of DLCs, including both point-to-point (P2P) and VPN-based DLCs, as managed services with various service commitments such as bandwidth, uptime, and latency.
- TRAI had earlier released a pre-consultation paper on April 29, 2025 to gather initial feedback.
- Based on stakeholder responses and TRAI’s analysis, the current consultation paper has now been placed on TRAI’s website.
