Training on e-auction process for liquor licences held in Kalaburagi

• A total of 569 liquor licences across Karnataka will be allotted through the online auction, she said, adding that interested bidders from Kalaburagi district could participate in the process.
• The training was held at the MRMC SAC (Student Activity Centre) located in the CPM Boys’ Hostel campus of HKE Education Institution in Kalaburagi city.
• The Deputy Commissioner said the technical training had been organised to provide detailed information on the e-auction process, as licences were being allotted through online bidding for the first time by the Excise Department.
• She urged bidders to make full use of the training and clarify any doubts with technical experts present at the venue.
• The e-auction will be conducted through the MSTC Limited portal (www. mstccecommerce. com), a Government of India enterprise.
