Agartala, (UNI) In a heartbreaking incident, a six-year-old boy in Uttar Bijaynagar area under the Sidhai police station in Mohanpur of West Tripura, tragically lost his life after he was struck by a sand-carrying truck. The officer in charge of the Sidhai police station, Ajit Kumar Chakma, said that the boy, identified as Alankita Raj Sarkar, had just bathed at home and was preparing to go to school to offer ‘Anjali’ to Goddess Saraswati at his nearby school. However, as Alankita Raj stepped onto the road in front of his house, a speeding sand-carrying truck coming from the north hit him forcefully, leaving him unconscious on the road.
