Figueiredo, who missed weight by 2.5 pounds during Friday's official weigh-ins, seemed a step behind. Whether it was cut-related or mental, he appeared a bit sluggish and lacking the explosiveness that helped him obtain UFC gold years ago. With the win, Nurmagomedov takes one step closer toward another UFC title shot in a stacked bantamweight division. He's won back-to-back fights, having entered the bout off a victory over Mario Bautista.
