The incident, which occurred shortlay after 8:00 am (0800 GMT), was reportedly sparked by an argument among “a group of people known to each other,” police confirmed. Crucially, authorities are not treating the event as terrorism. The Metropolitan Police dispatched armed response officers to the scene after receiving multiple reports of assaults. “A number of people were sprayed with what is believed to be a form of pepper spray by a group of men who then left the scene,” a police statement detailed.
