At the same time, Nate Boerkircher and Amari Niblack are headed to the NFL Draft after using all of their collegiate eligibility. On paper, incoming sophomore Kiotti Armstrong looks like the next man up, but head coach Mike Elko will be looking for one or two experienced veterans. Plenty of intriguing names are officially in the portal, led by Iowa State transfer Benjamin Brahmer, followed by Tulsa tight end Brody Foley, who will both cost a hefty amount, but would instantly upgrade a position of need that is vital in Texas A&M's offense under new OC Holmon Wiggins. Standing at 6'5" and nearly 250 pounds, Thomas earned above-average Pro Football Focus marks, including a 67.4 receiving grade and a 66.3 pass blocking grade. Unlike Nate Boerkircher, who was already a developed blocker who surprised all of us as a pass catcher, Thomas is already an established receiver.
