For starting quarterback Marcel Reed, this will be the first chance in nearly a month to prove that his poor performance against Texas was just a fluke. Before the Aggies shift their entire focus to Miami, Reed made several media appearances, including an insightful discussion with former College Gameday co-host and college football analyst David Pollack, in which they discussed Texas A&M's epic comeback 31-30 win over South Carolina at the end of the regular season. From there on, the Aggies scored on nearly every drive, while the defense shut down the Gamecocks to zero second-half points, including sacking QB LaNorris Sellers twice on the last drive. If the Aggies had lost this game, it's highly possible a meaningless bowl game instead of a trip to the CFP would have come to fruition."We shot both of our feet already, we couldn't shoot another one."This win was the definition of adversity for a team that has seen it all, and a quarterback that has fully understood the moment, leading to the historic turnaround.
