Only a few days after the Ravens lost that game, John Harbaugh was dismissed as head coach after 18 seasons. Clearly, a deep postseason run may have changed the math on that, but it seems a one-and-done appearance in the playoffs wouldn't have altered the course of action. The Ravens had a disappointing season, one in which they entered the season as Super Bowl favorites and instead didn't even make the tournament. They're now seeking a fresh start. They've still got quarterback Lamar Jackson and running back Derrick Henry, among a number of other stars.
