West Bengal SIR: over 61 lakh voters removed from final electoral roll

Key Highlights

• Over 63 lakh voters were deleted from the electoral roll in West Bengal.
• Approximately 60 lakh names are under judicial adjudication.
• 1,82,036 new voters were added under Forms 6 and 6A.
• The final electoral roll includes around 7,04,59,284 voters.
• Before the revision, there were 7,66,37,529 voters in the state.
