The 17-13 victory was far from pretty, but it improved OU’s overall record to 10-2, and their SEC record to 6-2. With less than a week before Selection Sunday, the newest wave of bowl projections came in after last weekend’s Rivalry Week action, and the picture began to come into focus for the Sooners. In all three projections, the Sooners are predicted to host the ninth-seeded Notre Dame Fighting Irish in Norman.
