Meadville boys volleyball takes secondAdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementThe Meadville Bulldogs saw its dream season end on a sour note in June. Meadville's boys volleyball team lost its PIAA Class 2A championship match against Manheim Central 3-1 (21-25, 25-23, 25-16, 27-25) at Penn State University's Recreation Hall. The 'Dogs finished the season 19-1 and fell short of winning back-to-back state championships. Meadville won a District 10 title against Saegertown before taking down South Fayette, Ambridge and Shaler in the PIAA playoffs before its state title match. Meadville is 3-6 in state title matches.
