As legal proceedings continue in the high profile case involving Assamese music icon Zubeen Garg, contrasting emotions have emerged in intense courtroom scrutiny on one hand and heartfelt admiration from young admirers on the other. On Friday, the Public Prosecutor PP outlined the developments in court, clarifying that charges were not framed during the day’s proceedings. The court conducted a fixed point charge hearing for one accused Amrit Prabha during which a bail petition was moved and the consideration of charge hearing was completed. For another accused Siddharth Sharma a newly appointed private counsel appeared partially and sought time citing the voluminous nature of the chargesheet.
