Ben Johns and Gabriel Tardio have advanced to the men’s doubles semifinals at the Carvana PPA Masters at Mission Hills Country Club in California, USA. The pair will face CJ Klinger and JW Johnson for a place in the final. Speaking to PickleballTV after the match, Tardio said, “If you think about Ben Johns, you still think of him as the best player in the world in doubles, in my opinion, and in many people’s opinions. There are only a few players who get to be in proximity to him.”Despite the partnership, the 19-year-old was clear that their styles remain fundamentally different.
