During a Sundance interview at the Variety Studio presented by Audible, the actor was asked about Paramount’s new leadership and what they have in store for the space franchise. The answer was simple: “You probably know more than I do.” As Variety reported last year, Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, the duo behind the Pine-starring “Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves” are writing, producing and directing a new “Star Trek” film that will seek to revitalize the franchise.
