The National Capital Region (NCR) remains a hotspot for vehicle theft, accounting for over 56 per cent of such cases reported across the country, they said. In Delhi alone, a vehicle is stolen approximately every 14 minutes, with vehicle theft forming nearly 20 per cent of the total crimes reported in the city.
