Pankaj Jain, New Delhi, Jan 17(UNI) Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta on Saturday said that the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) has found no evidence of tampering or alteration in the audio-video recording of the House proceedings that were sent for forensic examination on the Opposition’s demand after the Leader of Opposition in the House, Atishi’s alleged remarks on a Sikh Guru raised a lot of political dust. Addressing a press conference, the Speaker said that following the Opposition’s request, the Assembly Secretariat had sent the House recording to the FSL on January 8. “Along with the audio and video footage, the verbatim record of the proceedings was also provided to ensure a comprehensive and detailed forensic analysis,” he added Reading out key portions of the FSL report, Gupta quoted: “Regarding the authenticity and genuineness of the video, it is to state that we have received transcription and listened to the same at the laboratory and there is no indication of any form of alteration, tampering in the identified video shot on the basis frame by frame analysis using video analyst system.” Speaker further said the forensic examination was carried out by taking into account all relevant facts and by following due process.
