Pollard (Oscar nominee for “Four Little Girls”; “MLK/FBI,” “Citizen Ashe”) directs the intimate portrait of Archbishop Desmond Tutu, the rebel cleric whose moral leadership helped bring about the end of apartheid in South Africa, transforming the soul of a nation and inspiring generations around the world. The film screens in the Special Presentation section of the festival.
