The Falcons have since hired Kevin Stefanski as Atlanta's next head coach. McDaniel has a Monday interview with the Raiders lined up for Las Vegas' head coaching job and McDaniel has also interviewed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for its offensive coordinator vacancy. The longer this process rolls on, the more it feels like the ball is in McDaniel's court on both the Lions and Bucs' OC openings. In his Saturday update on the NFL coaching carousel, Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer backed the idea that McDaniel could hold a "domino effect" on the OC openings around the league.
