He was well supported by Lancashire's Joe Moores - nephew of former England coach Peter - who hit 81 off 65 balls in a second-wicket stand of 188. Mayes takes the national record from Dan Lawrence, who hit 174 for England against Fiji in 2016. England finished on 404-6 - the seventh-highest score in tournament history and the first time England themselves have passed 400. Scotland are yet to bat.
