Adam Kadyrov, the son of Chechnya’s leader Ramzan Kadyrov, and UFC middleweight champion Khamzat Chimaev were reportedly involved in a serious car accident in Grozny, according to opposition channels and local media. The incident has allegedly led to parts of the Chechen capital being locked down, though there has been no official confirmation from authorities. Chechen opposition Telegram channel NIYSO reported that the accident involved a high-level motorcade travelling at extremely high speed when it suddenly encountered an obstruction, triggering a chain collision. Several people were injured in the crash, with NIYSO stating that Adam Kadyrov, 18, is in serious condition and is being resuscitated and prepared for transport to Moscow for further medical treatment.
