Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reported the trade Sunday night:Golden Knights get: Rasmus AnderssonFlames get: Zach Whitecloud, Abram Wiebe, 2027 first-round pick, 2027 second-round pickThe Flames are set to pay 50% of Andersson's remaining salary. Andersson spent his first 10 NHL seasons with Calgary, counting this one. He has played 584 games for the Flames, recording 261 points that included 57 goals. He ranks seventh all-time among Flames defensemen in games played, seventh in goals and sixth in points. Andersson has 10 goals and 30 assists this season in 48 games. Going back to Calgary are the 29-year old defenseman Whitecloud, the University of North Dakota's Wiebe and a pair of draft picks.
